Changelog
Product updates and release notes for BeeRanked.
v1.5
Search data, templates, CTAs, importer Added
- BeeRanked Data: connect Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools with a read-only sign-in and get a ranked list of what to do next. Every item shows the exact numbers it came from (clicks, impressions, position) and one button that opens the BeeRanked tool that fixes it: rewrite a title, push a page that sits just off page 1, add internal links, draft the page a search is asking for, or redirect a dead URL that still gets traffic. Nothing is generated: every line is arithmetic on your own search data.
- All your search data without opening the consoles. The Data page shows the last 28 days against the 28 before, a 90-day chart of clicks and impressions, and full tables of every page and query. Google connections also break the numbers down by country, device, search appearance, and search type. Several Search Console properties can be merged into one view without double counting.
- Changes and what they did. Every publish, republish, and title rewrite is measured against the days that follow, so you can see whether a change earned clicks. The same page tells you how fast your pages typically get their first impressions and reach page 1, and once a year of history exists it compares this month with the same weeks last year, longer than Search Console itself remembers.
- The dashboard now opens with What to do next: a short list of the most valuable things to do across your brand, from search findings to pages missing their SEO, each with a time estimate and a button. Mark items done, hide them for a month, or say you want less of a kind, and the list learns.
- A weekly email with your search summary and the top three things to do next, so the work comes to you. It stops the moment you disconnect the source.
- Hub templates: ten layout presets for your content hub, from a classic magazine to a help desk, with a gallery that previews each one on your real content before you apply it.
- Calls to action on your hub: add a button or a lead-capture form to your pages, style it with a live preview, target it by content type and language, and drop it into any page with the /cta command. Leads land in a new inbox and can be forwarded to your own tools.
- Content importer: paste the address of a content hub and get all of its content back, ready to import as drafts or publish straight away. It is also available as a free tool on our site, and your AI assistant can run it.
- Structured fields for custom content types. Give a type its own fields, lay them out with a body template, and BeeRanked turns them into rich results for search, including product and offer data. Per-page search engine directives and a read-only Content API for your own frontends round it out.
- Smaller additions across the studio: tables in the editor and through your AI assistant, a custom icon per content section, an All content archive, structured data on listing pages, pricing shown in seven currencies based on where you are, and confirmation emails for purchases and cancellations.
Changed
- The editor shows search signals right under the title: how a page is doing in search, so you know what you are editing before you start.
- Your hub speaks your brand's default language everywhere: homepage, category archives, article chrome, and search descriptions, with Italian and Portuguese added to the built-in languages. Translated pages link to each other both ways so search engines always see the full set.
- Faster and calmer studio: every confirmation is an in-app dialog, saving a content type no longer waits for the whole site to rebuild, and previews match the live page exactly.
Fixed
- Search previews and share images now use your real site address, articles are announced as articles to social networks, and the Continue reading cards refresh when a page is removed.
Security
- Ongoing hardening of the studio, the self-host agent, and custom domain checks, including a self-updating agent that keeps itself current.
v1.4
Translations, video SEO, clearer dashboard Added
- A new Translations page, reached from the Languages link in the dashboard. Pick a language and see everything at a glance: how much of your content it covers, which translations went out of date because you edited the original, and what has no translation yet. Fix a whole language in one go with Update all and Translate all.
- Three clearly named ways to translate, so you always know what you are choosing: Machine translate (instant, built in), AI: MCP (your own AI assistant does the translating, best quality), and Write it yourself (free, always available). Whichever you pick, the free path stays one click away.
- Your content hub itself can now speak your readers' languages. Turn a language on and the homepage introduction, section names, and labels appear translated at their own address, with a language switcher on every page. Translate the hub text by hand, or hand your AI assistant a ready-made prompt.
- Videos you embed now show up to search engines, not just to people. Every embedded YouTube video, including Shorts, is described to Google with its real length and upload date, making your pages eligible for video results.
Changed
- The dashboard now points at the work. Where a plain list of drafts used to sit, three cards show what is worth doing next: pages missing their SEO, translations that went out of date, and drafts with no publish date. Each card is one click from the tool that clears it.
- Setting up your AI assistant is safer and clearer. The setup command only appears with a real key already filled in, ready to paste as is, and you choose which key it carries. The long list of assistant tools is now folded away and grouped by what you would use them for.
- Every dropdown menu in the dashboard got a redesign: they now match the rest of the studio in both themes, and work fully with the keyboard.
Fixed
- You can no longer translate a page by accident before it is ready. An empty page, or unsaved changes, now pause translation with a clear note about what to do first, so a translation always matches what you actually wrote.
- Links inside your content now survive change. A link to one of your own pages keeps working even after that page is renamed, moved, or translated, and we repaired existing links across all content the same way.
- Reading a translated page no longer hits a dead end when one of its categories is not translated yet: the page now falls back to the original language instead of showing an error, and picks the translation up automatically once you add it.
v1.3
Custom sections, perfect scores, scheduling Added
- Your AI assistant can now create whole new content sections for your content hub.
- Give every content section its own look. Set a custom icon and accent color per type, and the homepage cards, listings, and labels follow along.
- Schedule a draft to publish itself. Pick a date and time on the Content page and the post goes live on its own, no need to be at your desk.
- Hand-crafted translations, with help. Your assistant can now start a manual translation of any page: it clones the original into a linked draft in the new language, ready to fill in, and the language switcher picks it up like any other translation.
- If your logo already includes your company name, a new brand setting stops the name being repeated next to it in the menu and on the homepage.
Changed
- Brand homepages got a fresh masthead: your introduction on one side and your newest piece featured on the other, so the top of the page pulls readers straight into your content. The soft glow behind it now uses your brand color too.
- Perfect lighthouse scores by default, further improved for plugin users. Every public page now passes Google Lighthouse accessibility at 100 with top performance marks, and we added automatic safeguards to keep it that way: plugin styles are gently corrected when their colors would fail readability contrast, plugin fonts are served without blocking the page, and every image loads with its size reserved so nothing jumps.
- Site plugins can recolor the small details, text selection, the underline under the active menu item, quote borders and highlights, by setting a single accent value.
Fixed
- The Live buttons across the dashboard now always open the page at your real public address. Some of them used to point at an internal address that could refuse the visit.
- Search engines and your byline now agree on dates.
- Translated pages in custom sections had language links pointing to the wrong address. The language switcher and the hints we give search engines now use the right one.
Security
- Tightened plan handling so an account's plan can only change through checkout.
v1.2
Bylines, rich results, smoother dashboard Added
- Give your content a real byline. Assign an author to any post, article, or doc right from the editor, set a default author for your brand, and manage everyone from a new Authors card in Settings. Each author gets a public profile page that gathers their work.
- Your glossary and wiki pages can now stand out in search. We add the right behind-the-scenes data so a defined term can show up as a rich result on Google.
- Every blog post, wiki article, and doc now ends with a Continue reading section that automatically links three related pieces, starting with others in the same category. Readers keep moving through your site with no links to pick by hand. Existing pages get it the next time you publish or republish them.
- Need a hand? A new Help and support menu in the dashboard lets you send feedback in a couple of clicks, and it reaches a real inbox.
- Connect your AI assistant more tightly: it can now upload an image straight from raw data, so it can add pictures to a draft on its own.
Changed
- Wiki pages now place the table of contents just below a leading image, so a hero illustration sits up top where it belongs.
Fixed
- Connecting a subdomain no longer shows a blank panel, and one-click domain connection only appears when it can actually finish the job.
- Public content pages are more reliable. We fixed a rare redirect loop and made publishing self-healing, so a page that fails to write is retried and reconciled on its own.
Removed
- We have retired the built-in community forum to focus BeeRanked on content that ranks in search and sends readers to the pages that convert.
v1.1
A faster site, a cleaner editor, and clearer dates Changed
- Your posts now show the date they went live, not the day you started the draft. When you revise a post later, an Updated date appears alongside it, so readers can see the content is current.
- Faster, more reliable pages. We moved to more powerful infrastructure with far more room to grow, so your public site and your dashboard load quicker and stay up.
- A calmer writing screen. The URL and category settings now live in the editor's Settings panel, so the main canvas stays focused on your words and never feels crowded.
A polish and reliability release. The whole platform runs on stronger hardware so it is faster and steadier for you.
v1.0
BeeRanked 1.0 Added
- Manage your content categories from one place. Create, rename, and delete categories, see how many pieces use each, and move content in or out of a category without opening every post. Find it on the Content page.
- Do it from your AI assistant too: new tools to rename and delete categories, alongside creating and listing them.
Changed
- Place BeeRanked content as a section of your own site without style clashes. Our styles now stay strictly inside our content and never touch your site's own menus, header, footer, or layout.
Fixed
- Branding and layout updates now reach self-hosted sites automatically, so a rebrand or style change shows up without any extra steps.
BeeRanked reaches 1.0. You can run and manage your whole content workspace from the dashboard or your AI assistant, and serve it as a native section of your own site, with your own look and your own header and footer. Thank you to our early customers for getting us here.
v0.9
Run BeeRanked from your AI assistant Added
- Connect your AI assistant to BeeRanked and let it do the setup for you. It installs BeeRanked on your server, mounts your content as a section of your own site, and gets you live, with nothing to run by hand.
- Manage your brand straight from your assistant: rename it, set a logo or favicon, change colors and fonts, update contact and social links, and choose which content types are turned on.
- Your assistant can now upload images, add redirects so you never lose a link, and organize content into categories.
- Wrap your BeeRanked content in your site's own header and footer. Ours can be fully removed, not just hidden, so nothing is left over.
Changed
- A new Republish button pushes your latest brand changes to your live site in one click, from the dashboard, your brand page, or settings.
Fixed
- Renaming a brand now reliably updates your live site and the brand picker.
- Page breadcrumbs no longer overlap the header when you scroll.
This release makes BeeRanked something your AI assistant can run end to end. Connect it once, then ask it to set everything up, manage your brand, and keep your content live, while you stay in the tools you already use.
